ModuleThe IC694MDL340 is part of Emerson Automation’s PACSystem RX3i Programmable Automation Controller (PAC) series, formerly by GE Intelligent Platforms GE IP). This module is specifically a discrete output module, designed with Sixteen (16) output channels rated 120 VAC and delivers an output voltage range of 85 - 132 VAC at a frequency of 47-63 Hz. The output channels of this module are arranged in Two (2) groups of Eight (8) outputs each, with optical isolation and group to group isolation rated at 250 VAC, continuous voltage, and 1500 VAC voltage for 1 minute. The output channels of this module are rated 0.5 Amperes per point while the maximum output current per group is 3 Amperes. The module’s minimum load current is 50 mA while the generated inrush current is rated 20 Amperes, maximum, at a duration of One (1) cycle. This module also has a backplane current draw of 315 mA when all output channels are energized. The output voltage drop being exhibited by this module is 1.5 Volts, maximum while the maximum leakage current is 2 mA at rated voltage. The module’s ON response time has a maximum delay of 1 ms while ½ delay is experienced during the transition to OFF state. This module is provided with Two (2) protective fuses with a rating of 3 Amperes and an equivalent catalog number for the replacement of GE Fanuc part number 44A724627-111. These pre-installed fuses are allocated One (1) per output group. Individual output channel indicators and an “F” LED is provided to this module for easy identification of the module’s operational state.

This module can only be powered by an AC power source that is user-supplied in order to operate loads linked to outputs. The GE Fanuc IC694MDL340 Output Module from the RX3i PacSystem series has an operating temperature range between 32 and 140 degrees Fahrenheit (0 and 60 degrees Celsius) and a storage temperature range between -40 and 185 degrees Fahrenheit (-40 and 85 degrees Celsius). The module can tolerate a relative humidity level that is non-condensing in a range of 5% to 95%. It also has a vibration rating of 10 to 57 Hertz and 0.0524 millimeters (0.006 inches) of peak displacement. This module also has a shock rating of 15 G for 11 milliseconds.
