The GE Fanuc IC694ALG542 Analog I/O Module is an RX3i PACSystems solid-state connection card that is designed and manufactured by GE Fanuc as a versatile way to control and monitor industrial applications in a wide variety of fields. Four differential input channels and 2 single-ended output channels can be simultaneously used and independently configured on the GE Fanuc IC694ALG542 Analog I/O Module. To customize the parameters and assign the signal range to use in each channel, the users need to use a proprietary Machine Edition software that is available for purchase from GE Fanuc. The module offers the possibility of using inputs or outputs in 4 different ranges: 0 to 10 volts (unipolar), -10 to 10 volts (bipolar), 0 to 20 milliamps, and 4 to 20 milliamps.

The GE Fanuc IC694ALG542 Analog I/O Module has been designed so that it can be easily installed in and dismounted from an RX3i backplane. It can get its supply of power from an external 24 Volts DC rated power supply or from the 5 Volts DC power source that is present in the RX3i backplane. The GE Fanuc IC694ALG542 Analog I/O Module has an update rate of 2 milliseconds, making it one of the fastest processors of information in its class. Advanced functions such as the customizable scaling of signals, open-wire detection, user-configurable alarms, and fault reporting are available in the GE Fanuc IC694ALG542 Analog I/O Module. Controlling actuators and monitoring the state of sensors from a single, configurable device has never been easier with such a versatile device as the GE Fanuc IC694ALG542 Analog I/O Module.
