ModuleThe GE Fanuc IC660TSS100 terminal assembly is a terminal assembly for I/O blocks from GE Fanuc which have the catalog numbers IC660BBS100 or IC660BBS101. The IC660BBS100 I/O block is a 115 or 125 Volts DC isolated I/O block which reports failed switch diagnostics and the IC660BBS101 I/O block is a 115 to 125 Volts DC isolated I/O block which does not report failed switch diagnostics. The IC660BBS100 I/O block will also report failed switch diagnostics if the switch state of an output is not the same as the commanded state. The IC660BBS100 and the IC660BBS101 I/O blocks generate 8 Watts of heat in general, and they also generate 4.7 Watts of heat for each input circuit at a 100% duty cycle which is sinking 2 Amps and they generate 1.1 Watts of heat for each output circuit which is operating at a 100% duty cycle. The GE Fanuc I/O blocks are composed of a terminal assembly like the IC660TSS100 terminal assembly and a compatible electronics assembly. The IC660TSS100 terminal assembly is not compatible with earlier versions of GE electronics assemblies such as the IC660EBS100A to G electronics assemblies or the IC660EBS101A or B electronics assemblies.
If the GE Fanuc RX3i IC660TSS100 terminal assembly is used to replace an older version of the terminal assembly in an I/O block, then the electronics assembly will also need to be upgraded. This can be done by replacing the electronics assembly with versions like the IC660EBS101C electronics assembly or the IC660EBS100H electronics assembly or later. It can also be done by upgrading the electronics assembly firmware through one of the available upgrade kits. The environmental specifications for the IC660TSS100 terminal assembly include a -40 to 212 degrees Fahrenheit temperature range for storage and transport, a 32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit temperature range for operation, and a 5 to 95% relative humidity range (non-condensing) for both operation and storage. The vibration rating is 5 to 10 Hertz with 0.2 inches displacement.
