It has 8 circuits and runs on 125 Volts DC or 115 Volts AC voltage rating with isolated inputs and outputs. This high-speed counter electronics assembly block provides direct processing of quick pulse signals of up to 200 kilohertz. Among the typical applications for this high-speed counter-block are meter providing, material handling, turbine flowmeter, velocity measurement, process control, and motion control applications. The block is designed and intended to provide counters with different levels of complexity. The GE Fanuc IC660EBS100 electronics assembly block features 4 different control outputs as well as 5 Volts DC output voltage and a square-wave oscillator output that also functions as a reference for timing.
The IC660EBS100 electronics assembly block comes with a microprocessor and communications capabilities. It has the ability to count and control outputs without communicating with the PLC's CPU. The GE Fanuc IC660EBS100 electronics assembly block also features a Genius hand-held monitor, which can be used to display the strobe, count, preload, and other data for the operators to use to interface with their machines appropriately. This high-speed counter block can run on voltage rating of 10 to 30 Volts DC or 115 Volts AC. When the block uses 115 Volts AC as the source of power, the 10 to 30 Volts DC power works as backup power, but the DC and AC power can also be supplied simultaneously. Also, when the AC power fails, the block can keep working when the DC power is used as a backup.
