ModuleThe GE Fanuc IC660EBA023 Genius I/O Thermocouple Input Block Electronics Assembly is part of a 6-channel input block designed to monitor temperature inputs. This electronics assembly has standard thermocouples connected to each input for the detection and measurement of low-level voltage input signals. The IC660EBA023 Electronics Assembly is supplied either as a separate electronics assembly unit comprising a thermocouple block and LED indicators and other electronic circuits or as a complete factory-assembled block like the IC660BBA023 I/O Block that comprises the electronics assembly and a terminal assembly like the IC660TBA023 Terminal Assembly. The IC660EBA023 Electronics Assembly has 6 input circuits arranged in three 300 Volts DC isolated groups, and on each group are 2 thermocouple circuits and 2 remote cold junction compensation (CJC) inputs, which provide cold junction compensation for input measurements.
Each IC660EBA023 Electronics Assembly input can connect to J, K, T, E, B, R, S, and N-type thermocouples, and each input channel can be configured for an external sensor, internal sensor, or a user-defined value for the CJC. The IC660EBA023 Electronics Assembly has an operating voltage rating of 24/48 Volts DC (with an 18 to 56 Volts DC operating voltage range) and a power rating of 9.0 Watts. Each IC660EBA023 Electronics Assembly input has a voltage measurement range of -25 milliVolts to 150 milliVolts and a resolution of +/-10 microVolts. Each input channel has an accuracy rating of 8.0 Hertz and a filter range of +/-2 microVolts per degree Celsius. The internal CJC has a measurement range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius and a resolution of +/-0.01 degrees Celsius. An external remote CJC reports input signals in either voltage or current analog values, and it offers a measurement range of -25 to 150 degrees Celsius with an accuracy rating of +/-0.1 degrees Celsius.
