    Pressure Transmitters

Main functions: Used to measure the pressure in a specific environment or system, and convert the pressure signal into an electrical signal output, so as to facilitate the monitoring and control of pressure.

Technical parameters:

Measuring range: The measuring range of the pressure sensor varies according to different application scenarios, from a few pascals to hundreds of kilopascals and even higher pressure ranges.

Resolution: The smallest pressure value change that can be resolved, higher resolution sensors can more accurately measure small pressure changes.

Response time: The response time to pressure changes is fast, and the signal can be accurately measured and output in a short time, the response time is between a few milliseconds and a few seconds, depending on the product design.

Output signal: Usually the output signal of the pressure sensor is a standard analog current signal (such as 4-20mA) or a voltage signal (such as 0-5V, 1-5V, etc.) in order to connect with other control devices or systems.

Power supply voltage: A specific power supply voltage is required to ensure the normal operation of the sensor, and the common power supply voltage is 24V DC (DC) and other industry standard voltage.

Installation method: Depending on the product type and application scenario, the installation methods include threaded connection, flange connection, and guide rail installation. For example, it may be connected to pipes or equipment through threads such as G1/4 or M20.

Protection level: The protection level is usually expressed by IPXX, and the higher protection level can ensure that the sensor can work normally in the harsh industrial environment, such as IP65, which means that the product has the protection ability of dust and water spray.

Scope of application:

Application: Can be widely used in hydraulic system, pneumatic system, water supply system, chemical production, air conditioning refrigeration equipment, compressor and other fields, for monitoring and control pressure.

Compatible equipment: can be compatible with common PLC (programmable logic controller), DCS (distributed control system), SCADA (monitoring and data acquisition system) and other industrial automation equipment, in order to achieve data transmission and control.

How it works:

The operating principle of pressure sensors is based on piezoresistive effect, capacitance effect or other pressure measurement principles. When subjected to pressure, the sensitive element inside the sensor will undergo physical changes, resulting in a change in the electrical signal, and the pressure is determined by measuring the change in the electrical signal.

Installation and commissioning:

Installation procedure: Before installation, ensure that the installation position meets the requirements of the product to avoid adverse factors such as mechanical vibration, electromagnetic interference, high temperature, and humidity. When installing, properly connect according to the installation method of the product, and ensure that the connection is firm and the seal is good.

Debugging method: After the installation is complete, you need to debug the product to ensure that it works properly. When debugging, first check whether the power connection is correct, and then according to the product instructions for parameter setting and calibration, such as setting zero, range and other parameters.

Maintenance and maintenance:

Daily maintenance: Regularly check the appearance of the product for damage, corrosion and other conditions to keep the product clean. For products exposed to harsh environments, it is necessary to regularly clean the surface of dust, dirt and corrosive substances. Check whether the connection line is loose or aging. If there is any problem, replace or repair it in time.

Troubleshooting: When a product fails, first make a preliminary judgment according to the fault indication or abnormal performance of the product. Common faults may include inaccurate measurement values, abnormal output signals, communication failures, etc. For some simple faults, you can eliminate them by restarting the product, checking the parameter Settings, replacing the connection line, etc. For complex faults, you need to contact professional technicians for maintenance.

Safety precautions:

Electrical safety: During installation, commissioning and maintenance, ensure that the power supply has been disconnected to avoid electric shock accidents. For products that need to be grounded, ensure that the grounding is good to ensure personal safety and the normal operation of the product.

Mechanical safety: If there are moving parts or mechanical hazards during the operation of the product, corresponding protective measures need to be taken to avoid personnel injury.

Environmental safety: the use of the product environment must meet its specified temperature, humidity, pressure and other conditions, to avoid use in the environment beyond the range, so as not to affect the performance and life of the product, and even cause safety accidents.
